I recently came into possession of a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh cards that I want to sell, but I’m a bit unsure about certain things regarding their value. If a few people could please answer the following questions, I’d appreciate it. Also, if in addition to answering, someone could give me a legit site for checking prices of individual cards, I would appreciate that as well. Thanks!
1. Cards that say "1st Edition" on them are not necessarily more valuable than cards that don’t. T/F
2. Whether or not a card is holographic does not determine its value. T/F
3. If a card does not say (c) 1996 Kazuki Takahashi on the bottom right corner, or do not have a serial number either on the right side under the image or on the lower left corner, it is a fake, including cards in foreign languages. No exceptions. T/F
4. Even if a card appears completely real, with appropriate serial numbers both in the lower left corner and the right side under the image, correct image, description, element, name, number of stars, etc., and looks completely legit; if it does not have the tiny holographic square in the lower right hand corner, it is a fake, including cards in foreign languages. No exceptions. T/F
5. If a card looks completely real as mentioned above and includes the tiny holographic square on the bottom, if the words YU-GI-OH! and the Millennium Eye symbol are not visible in the square when tilting the card, it is a fake, including cards in foreign languages. No exceptions. T/F
6. Cards that say "Limited Edition" are for the most part more valuable than cards that do not. T/F
7. The color of a monster card (white, purple, brown, red, etc.) does not necessarily determine its value. T/F
8. Cards that are completely legit, are holographic, and have a lot of stars on the top are for the most part rare or valuable. T/F
Regarding fakes: I know that the appearance of the back of the card as well as the front determine it’s legitimacy. I have made a pile of cards I know for a fact are fake. The questions above regarding faked cards are traits that I am unsure of.
I really appreciate those who took their time to answer these. Thank you so much!
