Are Pokemon Cards similar to Yu-Gi-Oh! cards with the codes to put in the video games?

Yu-Gi-Oh! cards have a code at the bottom to put into the video games to get that type of card. Can that be the same with Pokemon cards that you can get the type of Pokemon from the card?

Best Yu gi oh video game?

It has been years since I have touched a yu gi oh card, and the last video game I have played was Yu gi oh World Championship 2004 for GBA. So right now I am thinking I could go back and see what has changed in the card game, but I prefer the video game to actual cards for many reasons.

So I did research on what game to get, and saw that some games wouldn’t have cards available like in other games, even the more modern games for DS.

So I’m wondering which Yu gi oh game has the most cards available in it. Any help?
I am 17 years old; and to be honest, Halo is a child’s game. Games like Portal are my kind of thing. GTA IV looks good to get (being an avid fan of GTA, I have used WINE to play Vice City and San Andreas on my Linux computer) for my computer.

Pokemon is another thing I am addicted to, and to get back to old habits have downloaded emulated versions of it. Right now I can play Gold and Silver like when I was a child.

Now I believe the two you still haven’t answered my question.

Making money by buying and trading Yu-Gi-Oh cards?

Alright, this is for any nerds out there like me who know anything about Yu-Gi-Oh. Alright, so I wanted a little way to make money, and being a fellow nerd I thought about yugioh cards. Heres how it works, some people would pay top dollar for a single card. Depending on how rare and how new and useful it is. So I thought, buy a booster box, sell all the rare cards and maybe a group of commons and pray you get something decent to at least get your money back. To put it in recent terms to anyone who understands. The newest set booster box sells for maybe 75 dollars. Thats 24 packs of 1st edition. Now if you average out that each packs value will at least be .50 worth of cards, and hopefully the rare is worth 10 or more, and you get maybe 2-3 decent rares in a box, maybe more if lucky. You sell those cards back on ebay or a good site where you can make money. If all thought out well, you can money off of it. Any fellow collectors and business people’s comments would be appreciated.

Please answer some questions about the value of various Yu-Gi-Oh cards?

I recently came into possession of a lot of Yu-Gi-Oh cards that I want to sell, but I’m a bit unsure about certain things regarding their value. If a few people could please answer the following questions, I’d appreciate it. Also, if in addition to answering, someone could give me a legit site for checking prices of individual cards, I would appreciate that as well. Thanks!

1. Cards that say "1st Edition" on them are not necessarily more valuable than cards that don’t. T/F

2. Whether or not a card is holographic does not determine its value. T/F

3. If a card does not say (c) 1996 Kazuki Takahashi on the bottom right corner, or do not have a serial number either on the right side under the image or on the lower left corner, it is a fake, including cards in foreign languages. No exceptions. T/F

4. Even if a card appears completely real, with appropriate serial numbers both in the lower left corner and the right side under the image, correct image, description, element, name, number of stars, etc., and looks completely legit; if it does not have the tiny holographic square in the lower right hand corner, it is a fake, including cards in foreign languages. No exceptions. T/F

5. If a card looks completely real as mentioned above and includes the tiny holographic square on the bottom, if the words YU-GI-OH! and the Millennium Eye symbol are not visible in the square when tilting the card, it is a fake, including cards in foreign languages. No exceptions. T/F

6. Cards that say "Limited Edition" are for the most part more valuable than cards that do not. T/F

7. The color of a monster card (white, purple, brown, red, etc.) does not necessarily determine its value. T/F

8. Cards that are completely legit, are holographic, and have a lot of stars on the top are for the most part rare or valuable. T/F

Regarding fakes: I know that the appearance of the back of the card as well as the front determine it’s legitimacy. I have made a pile of cards I know for a fact are fake. The questions above regarding faked cards are traits that I am unsure of.

I really appreciate those who took their time to answer these. Thank you so much!
