YuGiOh Trading Card Game Duelist Calculator

This calculator is good for its purpose — tracking Life Points in Yu-Gi-Oh and doing simple calculations. It has a memory function to add and subtract and recall. It uses solar power. The case is reasonably durable, although the opening latch can be inconvenient. It is small in size and fits in many deck protector cases. One nice thing is that the high-contrast LCD has good angle of vision so that your opponent can also see your total from across the table without having to squint or lean over.
The only real drawback that I found was the “minus” or negative sign. Instead of being next to the number (e.g., “-800″), it shows the number (e.g., “800″) and then in the upper left is a symbol (e.g., “-MINUS”). Sure looks positive to me.
Given its purpose and price, it is a good product.

Keeping track of Life Points in the Yu-Gi-Oh card game is best done using a calculator, rather than having to write it down. However, this looks like just a normal calculator with the Yu-Gi-Oh brand name stamped on it. The little notepad in the side might come in handy, however.

…This s the [worst] calculator I have ever seen!!!! After 3 numbers the bottom starts to disappear and after 5 the bottom disappears completely and ends up on the other side!!! They should recall these with a full refund!

OK, so its just a calculator. And it is. However, when I went looking for a calculator to put with all my Yu Gi Oh stuff I was frusterated by the Auto-Off features they had. Barring a (…)calculator I had, I could not find anything until I crossed my fingers and tried this one.
I’ve had it store the score for several days without a problem.
In all other respects “its just a calculator”, but I personally feel that one feature is worth it. If I lost mine, I’d buy another.
